Ahmedabad, India: KP Energy Limited has signed a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for the development of a 100 MW grid-connected wind power project in Gujarat, further strengthening its position in India’s growing renewable energy sector.
The project was awarded through a competitive bidding process and will supply electricity at a tariff of ₹3.435 per kWh. It is scheduled to achieve its Commercial Operation Date (COD) by 30 July 2028.
This latest agreement marks another significant milestone in KP Energy’s expansion as an Independent Power Producer (IPP). The addition of 100 MW of wind energy capacity will enhance the company’s long-term renewable energy portfolio while supporting Gujarat’s clean energy ambitions.
