Hero Future Energies (HFE), the renewable energy arm of the Hero Group, has appointed two-time Olympic medallist and 2019 World Champion PV Sindhu as its brand ambassador, bringing together India’s sporting excellence and its transition towards a cleaner energy future.
The partnership reflects a shared vision built around ambition, perseverance and progress. While PV Sindhu has represented India at the highest level of global sport, HFE is working to strengthen the country’s renewable energy ecosystem and support its growing energy needs.
Rahul Munjal, Founder and Chairman of Hero Future Energies, highlighted the common values connecting sport and clean energy, noting that both require ambitious goals and sustained commitment.
PV Sindhu also welcomed the association, emphasising the growing importance of clean energy in powering India’s future and creating opportunities for the generations ahead.
HFE has been active in India’s renewable energy sector for 14 years and currently has a total portfolio of 7.7 GWp of renewable energy assets and 2.9 GWh of battery energy storage capacity, including operational and under-development projects.
The company is expanding beyond conventional renewable projects into Firm and Dispatchable Renewable Energy (FDRE), Round-the-Clock (RTC) power solutions, energy storage and green hydrogen.
The association with PV Sindhu is therefore more than a brand endorsement—it positions two Indian journeys around a common message: setting ambitious goals today to build a stronger, cleaner and more future-ready India.
