Sembcorp Green Infra Ltd. has filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to raise up to ₹3,750 crore through an Initial Public Offering (IPO), marking a significant step in its growth and expansion strategy.

The proposed IPO will comprise an entirely fresh issue of equity shares, with no Offer for Sale (OFS) component. The company plans to utilise the proceeds primarily towards repayment of certain borrowings of the company and its subsidiaries, helping strengthen its balance sheet while supporting the next phase of growth in India’s renewable energy market.

As of March 31, 2026, Sembcorp Green Infra had an operational renewable energy capacity of approximately 3.60 GW, with around 4.04 GW/GWh of additional capacity under construction. Its portfolio spans wind, solar, hybrid and energy-storage projects, positioning the company to benefit from India’s increasing demand for reliable and dispatchable clean energy solutions.

The proposed capital raise is expected to support Sembcorp Green Infra’s broader expansion across renewable energy, including round-the-clock (RTC), firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE), and battery energy storage-linked projects. The company operates across multiple states and Union Territories, reflecting its growing role in India’s rapidly expanding clean energy ecosystem.
