ROADGRID India Secures ₹13 Crore TDB Funding to Commercialise Universal EV Charger

New Delhi, India: ROADGRID India has secured ₹13 crore in financial assistance from the Technology Development Board (TDB) under the Department of Science and Technology (DST) to commercialise its patented Universal EV Charger.

The funding will support a ₹27.5 crore manufacturing project with an annual production capacity of up to 2,000 chargers, with commercial production targeted to begin by March 2027.

The interoperable charging solution is designed to support electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, passenger vehicles, and commercial EVs through a single integrated platform, strengthening India’s EV charging infrastructure and supporting the country’s clean mobility transition.
